We are now scheduling Hygiene Care Appointments and including emergency, non-essential treatment and restorative procedures

Request an Appointment - please phone 604-228-9074 or email:

We will be extending treatment to include hygiene care in July and will be open 3 days (Tues. Fri. + Sat. 8-5pm). Then in August we will be returning to our regular hours; Tues. Wed. Fri. + Sat. 8-5pm.

Please note that due to the current COVID-19 precautions, we have new infection control protocols with the scheduling and we will provide further details when appointments are reserved.

Enhanced Infection Controls

Safety is our first concern, so while we've been closed, we've taken the following precautions to ensure we can see you safely if you'd like to complete a treatment:

  • New safety barriers and limited seating in the reception area (to ensure social distancing is possible).

  • Enhanced air treatment equipment for aerosol generating procedures

  • Enhanced personal protective equipment for all Clinical Providers including face shields, goggles, masks and surgical gowns. Depending on the type of care you are receiving these may all be required or only a few... but rest assured we are being careful to provide the safest care and protection for you and ourselves as possible.

  • Surface Sanitation procedures beyond the latest recommendations (includes regular cleaning/wipe down of all surfaces in reception, washrooms, door handles and treatment rooms

  • You will be asked to complete a wellness questionnaire when you arrive for your appointment; have a phone interview on the date of the appointment prior to coming and have a temperature check

What To Expect

We follow all guidelines from the Provincial Health Authority and BC College of Dental Surgeons. When you arrive, things may feel a bit different for the time being.

  •  APPOINTMENT TIME; We ask that you arrive on time (we have specifically scheduled to avoid overlap of patients in the reception area). New guidelines require we extend the length of all appointments, this has resulted in less time to provide dental care

  • (Hence, it has become critical you arrive on time).

    • ***If you are late for an appointment a fee may be applied and your appointment canceled.

  • When you arrive, we will advise you complete a form and have a temperature check.

  • Except in the case of parents accompanying children or caregivers, only the patient being treated will be permitted in the office and reception area. We will provide hand sanitizer and ask if you can bring your own personal mask (mask optional).

  • To prevent sharing germs, there are no magazines or toys in the reception area

  • Dr. Fung and the clinical staff will be wearing more protective equipment (face shields, goggles, masks & surgical gowns for aerosol procedures)

Our Dental Philosophy of Practice is to take a comprehensive view of the patients’ oral health and offer conservative, long term, esthetic solutions for problems before they arise.

We strive to provide the best dental care available using long-term materials to create a lifetime of optimum oral health. Building trust, having excellent customer service, and providing the best patient care available we want our patients to know their treatment is given with kindness, comfort and a sense of caring.

New Patients

Our practice is prevention-oriented. New patients will receive a thorough examination; followed by a consultation with an individual treatment plan and estimates. Plaque control, cleaning, polishing, fluoride and preventive care will be offered when appropriate. A friendly reminder will be e-mailed or patients will be phoned when it is time to return for hygiene care and to ensure regular and optimal maintenance.

Patient Comforts

Below is a list of services and items we provide to make each patient as comfortable as possible during their appointment

  • Wide selection of up-to-date magazines to enjoy in our waiting area.

  • HD TVs available in each treatment room

  • Reception Area has an HD TV as well as a Blue Ray player for children to watch movies while waiting for their appointment or other family members

  • Aquarium in reception area

  • Fleecy Blankets

  • Wireless Headset to listen to TV or music during appointment

  • 3M Fluoride Varnish

  • Tooth paste samples

  • Back massage feature in the dental chair can be activated during your treatment

  • Sunglasses to reduce light glare

  • Warm Towels after each visit

Besides all the regulated guidelines, we also use an independent water system (not connected to city water) using distilled water in each patient treatment room.  Our waterlines are disinfected nightly and flushed daily.  This is to prevent dental unit water line contamination, see the Journal of American Dentistry link for more information – preventing waterline contamination.  We provide waterline flushing, independent reservoirs and chemical treatment to protect our patients.
