Dr. Kiavash Hossini earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of British Columbia along with a distinguished achievement award from the British Columbia Dental Association in 2017. Since graduation he has been extremely involved in all aspects of the profession. In addition to practicing full time at an office in Coquitlam, BC he has attended multiple conferences and study clubs. He has been involved as an instructor teaching students at UBC Faculty of Dentistry. Recently, he has joined the specialty program at UBC to pursue advanced dental training in the field of endodontics.
Dr Hossini, is extremely passionate about preserving the natural dentition, largely through prevention of disease. His mission statement is to fully educate all patients on the various ways to limit oral disease. When it comes to providing dental care, he aims to provide the most ideal treatment options available with the best quality that will offer longevity to the tooth. He has a patient-centered care philosophy and always has the best interest of his patient in mind.
He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture prior to entering the dental profession and enjoys combining arts with science to achieve a more esthetically pleasing result in his dental care. He has volunteered on numerous dental missions, including a trip to Anahim Lake, BC and he is an active member of the prestigious Gold Tucker Study Club.
Dr. Hossini is a kind, confident dentist who enjoys all aspects of dentistry and strives to produce a high standard of patient-focused care. He prides himself on following a conservative approach to dentistry and is excited to build lasting relationships with his patients.
When not working, Dr. Hossini enjoys playing soccer and enjoys cooking delicious new recipes.
